1. Role Overview
AGM Business Development (BPO)
2. Key Responsibilities
Business Acquisition & Revenue Growth
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in
BPO/BPM services
across inbound, outbound, back-office, and digital process domains. - Develop and implement
sales strategies
to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets. - Manage complete sales cycle: lead generation ? qualification ? proposal ? pricing ? negotiation ? contract closure.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with
CXOs, decision-makers, and key stakeholders
. - Ensure high client satisfaction and act as the primary escalation point for strategic accounts.
Solutioning & Proposal Management
- Work with
operations, WFM, transition, and finance teams
to design customized BPO solutions. - Prepare
RFP/RFI responses
, proposals, case studies, and presentations. - Drive pricing, commercials, and business cases in alignment with internal guidelines.
Market Research & Strategy
- Identify new
verticals, geographies, and service lines
for expansion. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client insights to support strategic planning.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of managers and executives in business development and presales.
- Drive performance management, sales pipeline reviews, and forecasting.
Operational Handoff
- Coordinate with operations and transition teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Ensure SLA adherence during handover and project kick-off.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of
BPO/BPM operations
, KPIs, SLAs, work models, staffing, and commercials. - Proven track record of
closing mid-size and large BPO deals
(Domestic/International). - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and financial acumen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Experience in CRM tools, proposal writing, and pipeline management.
4. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
815+ years
of progressive experience in Business Development / Sales in BPO industry
.- Experience dealing with clients in
BFSI, Telecom, E-commerce, Healthcare, Retail, or IT/ITES
domains (customize as needed). - Global exposure (US/UK/APAC/GCC) preferred, depending on company market focus.
