Job Description: Business Analyst (ERP Focus) Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically within the Finance or Human Resources (HR) domain. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both functional requirements and technical specifications, with proven skills in SQL for data analysis and reporting. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and meet business needs. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Conduct thorough analysis to identify gaps in current ERP systems and recommend improvements. ERP System Management: Work with ERP modules in the Finance or HR domain to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Collaborate with IT and system vendors to implement ERP solutions and upgrades. Data Management: Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from ERP systems. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights to management. Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test plans and test cases, and conduct system testing to ensure configurations meet the business requirements. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Training & Support: Train end-users on ERP functionalities and best practices. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and documentation for system-related issues. Project Management: Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Track project progress and report updates to management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related fields. Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within ERP systems in Finance or HR. Strong understanding of ERP modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and reporting. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and improve processes. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
