About the Role

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for eCommerce initiatives.
  
• Map end-to-end

  customer journeys

  , including browsing, ordering, payment, fulfillment, returns, and loyalty.
• Translate business needs into

  user stories, process flows, and functional specifications

  .
• Conduct

  gap analysis

  between current systems/processes and future state requirements.
• Partner with product owners, UX, and engineering to design and deliver scalable eCommerce features.
  
• Support

  competitive and market analysis

  to identify opportunities for growth and customer engagement.
• Analyze key metrics such as

  conversion, cart abandonment, retention, AOV (Average Order Value)

  and recommend improvements.
• Ensure requirements align with retail-specific needs such as

  inventory, supply chain, pricing, promotions, and omnichannel strategies

  .
• Assist in

  UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

  and validate solutions against requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert for retail eCommerce systems, tools, and trends.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  
• 5–7 years of experience as a

  Business Analyst

  in

  retail, eCommerce, or digital transformation projects

  .
• Strong understanding of

  eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.)

  .
• Knowledge of

  retail processes

  : merchandising, pricing, order management, inventory, and fulfillment.
• Proficiency in writing

  user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and process documentation

  .
• Experience with

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Trello.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
