Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Client Interaction

• Act as a primary

  interface between business users, government stakeholders, and technical teams

  .
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions and workshops with senior stakeholders.
  
• Understand and document business processes in

  e-Governance / Finance / Tax / Banking

  domains.

Requirements & Documentation

• Prepare high-quality

  BRD, FRD, SRS, and User Stories

  .
• Ensure requirements are clear, complete, traceable, and aligned with business objectives.
  
• Support change requests and impact analysis.
  

Agile & Delivery Support

• Work in

  Agile / Scrum environments

  .
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
  
• Support or perform

  Scrum Master

  responsibilities when required.

Functional Testing & UAT

• Create and execute

  functional test cases

  based on business requirements.
• Support

  UAT

  , defect tracking, and closure in coordination with stakeholders.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business and compliance requirements.
  

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, and compliance standards applicable to government and financial systems.
  
• Maintain documentation and traceability for audits and reviews.
  

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Core Experience

• 7+ years

  of experience as a

  Business Analyst

  with strong client interaction
• Experience working with

  Directorate of Income Tax or similar government departments

  (preferred)
• Strong exposure to

  e-Governance / Finance / Tax / Banking

  domains
• Experience in

  functional testing and UAT

Documentation & Tools

• Strong expertise in

  BRD / FRD / SRS / User Stories

• Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and structured thinker
  
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with teams
  

Stability Requirement

• Preference for candidates with a

  stable career history

  (minimum job/employer changes across total experience)

Education

• CA / MBA / B.Tech / MCA

  (mandatory)
