We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the telecom or SaaS industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in business analysis, demonstrating a track record of successfully gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand their needs, define project scopes, and provide innovative IT solutions tailored to the telecom or SaaS domain. Your expertise in data analysis, market research, and knowledge of industry-specific processes will be critical in driving business growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders from the telecom or SaaS industry to gather and document business requirements, objectives, and processes.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business needs, systems, and data in the telecom or SaaS domain, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with industry-specific standards and practices.
- Work closely with development teams, including telecom network engineers or SaaS developers, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of IT solutions that address business challenges.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the telecom or SaaS industry, staying updated on emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis, interpret findings, and present actionable insights to stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in the prioritization and management of project tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines and project milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline telecom or SaaS business processes and optimize operational efficiency.
- Participate in user acceptance testing, validate system functionalities, and provide support during implementation phases.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and business analysis methodologies specific to the telecom or SaaS domain, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the telecom or SaaS industry.
- Proven expertise in requirement gathering, specification, and documentation within telecom or SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of telecom network architectures, telecommunication protocols, or SaaS platforms and their impact on business processes.
- Proficiency in industry-specific business process management principles and techniques.
- Excellent data analysis skills with a focus on telecom or SaaS data sets, ability to derive meaningful insights, and identify key performance indicators.
- Solid experience in market research methodologies and competitive analysis within the telecom or SaaS industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or industry-specific telecom/SaaS certifications are highly desirable.
