Job Description

Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the management and lifecycle of products and portfolios. You will provide technical assurance and support for the entire product/portfolio lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, quality, and continuous improvement to achieve business outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of product and portfolio roadmaps. Responsibilities: Business Management: Provide technical assurance and expertise to support full product/portfolio lifecycle including discovery, agile delivery, and operations. Serve as a technical thought leader on the art of the possible and support/advice on the creation of associated product/portfolio roadmaps. Proactively participate in the cross-functional product/portfolio team. Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful product/portfolio team outcomes. Collaborate and work with vendors and suppliers regarding technical issues. Technology Management: Advise on the IT product or application and act as an escalation point for quality and technical issues. Participate in IT product/portfolio strategy to bring the view of technology implications. Guide continuous improvement efforts to support business outcomes. Work with product technology/portfolio application vendors to understand new functionality/changes to associated roadmaps. Suggest product/portfolio development opportunities (functional and technical) and contribute improvements to the associated roadmap. Drive innovation themes into the product/portfolio team and into the wider IT natural team. Data Management: Ensure data integrity and quality of the product/portfolio in the relevant IT management systems. Maintain the demand funnel for the product/portfolio. Maintain the integrated plan/roadmap (0-3 years) for the product/portfolio. Provide regular and ad hoc data and reports on the product/portfolio to stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal and external stakeholders to help identify key events or decision points for the product/portfolio (e.g., major upgrades, architecture drivers, end of life, contract extensions). Support and perform initiation activities. Support and facilitate product/portfolio reviews and other delivery-related meetings. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in IT product/portfolio management. Strong technical assurance and thought leadership skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Proficiency in IT portfolio management systems (e.g., ITBM, ServiceNow). Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience in agile delivery and operations. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Skills: Business Analysis Data Analysis Document Management Requirement Management
