Job Description – Property ManagerPosition Title: Property ManagerDepartment: Real Estate / Facility ManagementReporting To: Director – Property Management / Owner / Asset ManagerLocation: chennai Employment Type: Full-time ey Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of assigned property/properties. Handle tenant communication, including inquiries, complaints, lease renewals, and notices. Collect rent, deposits, and other payments on time and maintain accurate records. Coordinate and supervise repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and security services. Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues. Ensure compliance with local property laws, leasing regulations, and safety standards. Manage vendor contracts (e.g., landscaping, plumbing, security) and evaluate service quality. Prepare budgets, track expenses, and generate regular financial and occupancy reports. Market vacant units, screen tenants, and manage leasing processes as needed. Handle evictions and legal issues related to tenant agreements (if required). Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred. Experience: freshers and experience also in property management, facility management, or real estate operations. Strong understanding of property laws, leasing procedures, and maintenance protocols. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Buildium, Yardi, Propertyware) and MS Office. Ability to manage budgets and handle multiple properties or units. Customer-focused and problem-solving mindset. Willingness to travel between sites if managing multiple locations. Preferred Skills:Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) knowledge (if applicable). Experience managing residential societies, commercial buildings, or retail spaces. Conflict resolution and crisis management skills.
