Build Automation Architect - Immediate Joiner

A minimum of 12 years of experience in Software Engineering as well as Build and Release Automation process or in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Architect and Design Build Automation Process:

  Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure CI/CD pipelines that automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  Develop and maintain IaC solutions (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) to provision and manage build and deployment environments.

• Build System Optimization:

  Optimize build processes for speed, reliability, and securit

• Automation:

  Identify and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

• Security:

  Implement security best practices throughout the CI/CD pipeline.

• Artifact Management:

  Manage and maintain artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory).

• Mentorship:

  Mentor and guide junior build and release engineers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience in build and release engineering, with a proven track record of architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Bash, Groovy).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, TFS).
• Experience with artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
