Role & responsibilities

Role:

Creating a lasting brand impression among consumers & Improving product sales and market share

Key Result Area:

  • Sales Target, Market Share, Profitability, Brand Growth

  • Marketing ROI

  • Reach & Depth Targets

  • Brand Equity/ Value

Strategy:

  • Development of the Brand Strategy as per the brand vision & goals

  • Translate brand strategy into brand plans, positioning & go to market strategies

  • Managing the brand P&L and driving growth

Operations:

  • Research & Analytics:

    • Monitoring Market Trends

    • Understanding current and potential customers

    • Researching and reporting on external opportunities

  • Realistic forecasting of sales and volume for the brand ensuring all parts of the company are geared accordingly

  • Implementation of the brand plan & managing the overall budgets

  • Managing agencies & ensuring effectiveness of marketing spends

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) & taking corrective action wherever required

  • Marketing Mix Management

    • Product

    • Cost Strategy

    • The selling process

    • Promotion & Advertisement

  • New Product Development

    • Research

    • ROI evaluation & feasibility studies

    • Financial Projections

    • Budgets & Expenditure Management

    • Marketing & promotion strategy

    • New Product Launch Plan

    • Tracking Success and Managing the product lifecycle thereon

  • Providing the necessary guidelines for sourcing and manufacturing of the brands products and ensuring all aspects of the supply chain align with the brand

  • Developing guidelines as required

  • Making customer focused decisions

  • Customer Relationship Management

Preferred candidate profile

  • Min 4- 5 years of Brand Management / Brand Building Experience in the FMCG industry

  • Understanding of research methodologies and tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges

  • Proven ability to develop brand & marketing strategies

  • In-depth understanding of the category, products

  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively

  • Budget-management skills and proficiency

  • Up to date with latest trends and best practices in marketing

  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in designing
