Branch Manager - Stock Broking Firm

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Revenue Generation

• Drive revenue through acquisition of new clients and activation of trading accounts
• Promote broking, distribution, and investment products such as equities, derivatives, mutual funds, IPOs, bonds, and PMS (if applicable)
• Develop local market strategies to increase branch profitability
• Achieve monthly and annual business targets

2. Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and motivate branch staff including dealers, relationship managers, and operations executives
• Set targets, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews
• Ensure training and skill development of team members

3. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value and retail clients
• Handle key client escalations and ensure high service quality
• Enhance client retention and cross-selling opportunities

4. Operations & Compliance

• Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations
• Adhere to SEBI, NSE, BSE, and exchange compliance norms
• Ensure proper documentation, KYC, AML, and audit readiness
• Coordinate with compliance and risk teams for inspections and audits

5. Risk & Control

• Monitor trading activities to minimize operational and financial risks
• Ensure client margins, exposure limits, and risk policies are followed
• Prevent unauthorized trading and compliance breaches

6. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
• Coordinate with HO departments such as compliance, risk, operations, and marketing
• Track branch performance metrics and take corrective actions

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Business, Finance, or related field
• NISM certifications (Equity Derivatives, Mutual Funds, Compliance) preferred
• MBA (Finance / Marketing) will be an added advantage

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as Branch Manager / Relationship Manager / Team Leader in a stock broking firm
• Exposure to retail and HNI client segments
• Experience in managing a profit-center branch

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹47,000.00 per month
