Branch Credit Manager

Key responsibilities

• Credit Assessment and Underwriting:

  Evaluate borrower creditworthiness, analyze financial and credit information, and make data-driven decisions within defined limits.

• Portfolio Management:

  Monitor the credit portfolio to manage risk, optimize profitability, track borrower creditworthiness, and identify early warning signals. Develop strategies to improve asset quality.

• Compliance and Risk Management:

  Ensure compliance with internal policies, lending guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Implement and monitor credit risk policies. Maintain accurate documentation.

• Customer Relationship Management:

  Build and maintain strong customer relationships and handle inquiries. Collaborate with sales and operations teams.

• Reporting and Analysis:

  Prepare and present credit reports and analysis to senior management.

• Team Leadership & Development (if applicable):

  Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance and training on credit-related matters.
