Branch Credit Manager

We are seeking a Branch Credit Manager to oversee the credit underwriting and risk assessment process at the branch level. The ideal candidate will evaluate loan proposals, ensure compliance with credit policies, minimize risk, and support business growth through sound credit decisions.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate loan applications as per company credit policy.
• Perform credit risk analysis of individuals and businesses.
• Conduct field visits for verification when required.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams for loan processing.
• Approve or recommend loan applications within delegated authority.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure healthy asset quality.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and internal guidelines.
• Train and guide branch staff on credit procedures and risk management.
• Handle audits and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 38 years of experience in credit underwriting or credit operations.
• Strong knowledge of lending products, credit policies, and risk practices.
