Job Description

As a Biotech Process Engineer at a reputed Biotech/Pharma Engineering client based in Pune, your role will involve designing and developing fermentor and bioprocess systems for biotech and pharma projects. You will be responsible for supporting process engineering activities, assisting in selecting and specifying bioreactors, fermentation, filtration, and purification systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting technical reviews and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop fermentor and bioprocess systems for biotech and pharma projects. - Support process engineering activities, including PFD/P&ID development, mass balance calculations, and equipment sizing. - Assist in selecting and specifying bioreactors, fermentation, filtration, and purification systems. - Ensure cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory compliance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution. - Conduct technical reviews and process optimization. Qualifications Required: - 4-7 years of experience in fermentor design and biotech process engineering. - Strong knowledge of bioprocessing, fermentation, and downstream processing. - Familiarity with pharma engineering standards and regulatory requirements. - Proficiency in process simulation software and engineering tools. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.,
