Biomedical Sales Intern

Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Biomedical Sales Intern to join our sales team in Madhavaram, Chennai. As a Biomedical Sales Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the sales and marketing of biomedical products, which includes medical devices and equipment. Your key responsibilities will include supporting sales representatives with sales calls, product demonstrations, and customer meetings. You will also need to develop a strong understanding of our biomedical products, including their features, benefits, and applications. Providing excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner will be essential. Additionally, conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors, as well as assisting in maintaining accurate sales records and participating in trade shows and events, will be part of your role. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive business growth. To qualify for this role, you should be currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Marketing, Biology, or a related field. While 0-1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory. You must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Basic knowledge of biomedical products and services is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Any relevant certifications, such as a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation, would be advantageous. This position will primarily involve working in an office environment, with occasional travel to customer sites and trade shows. The physical demands may include sitting, standing, and walking.
