Biomedical Field Service Engineer Responsibilities & Duties Install biomedical equipment and ensure proper functionality Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on medical devices Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in biomedical equipment Calibrate devices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations Train healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment Maintain detailed records of all service and repair activities Order and replace defective parts as necessary Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex issues Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements Provide on-site technical support at healthcare facilities Develop and update service protocols and procedures Assist with the evaluation and selection of new biomedical equipment Respond promptly to emergency service requests from clients Biomedical Field Service Engineer Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field 1-5 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair Certification from a recognized professional body.
