Biochemist

Job Summary:

The Post-PhD Biochemist will be responsible for performing advanced biochemical and molecular diagnostic testing, ensuring high accuracy, and contributing to research and development initiatives within the biochemistry department. The role involves working with cutting-edge diagnostic technologies and supporting clinical investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized biochemical assays and molecular diagnostic tests.
• Ensure accuracy, precision, and timely reporting of laboratory results.
• Review, validate, and interpret test data in compliance with NABL and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot analytical and instrumentation issues.
• Collaborate with clinical and research teams for new assay development and validation.
• Maintain documentation, calibration logs, and equipment maintenance records.
• Participate in internal and external quality control programs.
• Contribute to research publications, presentations, and academic collaborations.
• Train junior scientists, technicians, and interns when required

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Life Sciences from a recognized university.
• Minimum 1–3 years of post-doctoral or laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical chemistry, immunoassays, and molecular techniques (PCR, ELISA, electrophoresis, etc.).
• Familiarity with NABL & ISO and quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
