Job Description

Job Title: Biochemist

Job Role:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Biochemistry Department.
Supervise laboratory technologists and staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
Maintain and calibrate biochemical instruments and analyzers.
Verify, Approve and monitor quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) programs.
Monitor inventory of reagents, consumables, and equipment.
Kit & consumables validation and approval
Prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all biochemical tests.
Release reports within TAT.
Conduct tests on patient samples as per prescribed protocols.
Validate and interpret biochemical test results with precision and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and bio safety standards.
Troubleshoot analytical errors and instrument issues promptly.

Qualification: M.Sc Biochemistry, M.Sc Medical Biochemistry, M.Sc MLT
