Responsibilities:

Plumbing Systems Modeling: Creating detailed 3D models of plumbing systems including piping layouts, fixtures, drains, and water supply systems using BIM software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, or similar tools.
Coordination: Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of plumbing systems with other building components.
Clash Detection and Resolution: Conducting clash detection analysis to identify and resolve conflicts between plumbing systems and other building elements, such as structural elements or mechanical systems.
Documentation: Generating detailed construction documents, including plumbing drawings, schedules, specifications, and material quantities.

Skills:

BIM Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of BIM software such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD MEP specifically tailored for plumbing systems modeling and coordination.
Interdisciplinary Coordination: Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other MEP disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure coordinated designs.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve design conflicts and issues related to plumbing systems during the design and construction phases.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and project team members.
Project Management: Understanding of project management principles and practices related to BIM implementation and plumbing systems coordination.

Qualifications:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a focus on plumbing systems is typically required.
Certification or training in BIM software and plumbing design tools.
Previous experience in plumbing design, construction, or related fields is often preferred.
