Electrical Engineer with BIM expertise

Revit MEP

AutoCAD

international projects (US/UK preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical system designs including lighting, power distribution, panel schedules, SLDs, and cable tray layouts in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and equipment selection as per NEC/IEC/BS standards.
• Prepare and update Revit models, drawings, and schedules.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including HVAC, plumbing professionals.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and international standards.
• Participate in client meetings, coordination calls, and design reviews.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in BIM-based electrical design
• Prior experience working on US/UK or international MEP projects
• Knowledge of Dialux, ETAP, or similar tools is a plus

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Proficiency in electrical design calculations (lighting, power, load).
• Understanding of NEC, IEC, BS, and other international codes.
• Experience in BIM coordination and interdisciplinary design.
• Good command of MS Office tools for reporting and documentation.
