Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Building Information Modeling (BIM) Architect at VortexBIM. The Senior BIM Architect is responsible for leading the design team, providing technical expertise, and driving innovation in design and project delivery. The Senior BIM Architect creates and maintains BIM standards, protocols, and guidelines, ensuring their uniform application across all projects. The Senior BIM Architect also collaborates with clients and stakeholders to develop effective BIM deliverables and assists in training and mentoring other BIM Architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related fields
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
• Should have worked on the US construction
• Thorough understanding of BIM software and technology, including Revit, Navisworks, CAD, 3D visualization, and related tools
• Experience in developing BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows, and implementing them successfully across multiple projects
• Strong project management skills, including experience leading teams and working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
• Experience in managing or overseeing BIM coordinators and modelers
• Proficiency in BIM-related programming languages and platforms such as Python, Dynamo, and API programming is a plus
• Professional certification, such as ARCHICAD or Revit Architecture, is a plus
• Capability of working independently and as a team player, possessing problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good business acumen and understanding of industry requirements and standards
