Job Title: Billing & QS Engineer Reports to: Project Manager Location: Vile Parle Job Title: Billing & QS Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Billing & QS Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing billing, quantity surveying, and commercial aspects of construction projects, with a focus on finishing items, MEP work, and subcontractor billing. Key Responsibilities: Quantity Surveying: - Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Level Sheets, and other measurement documents - Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements for finishing items (painting, blockworks, etc.) and MEP work - Identify and quantify variations, and prepare claims and contractual documents Billing: - Prepare and submit accurate and timely bills to clients and subcontractors - Manage and rectify client and subcontractor bills, ensuring compliance with contractual terms - Ensure accurate valuation of work done and materials supplied Commercial: - Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate measurement and valuation of work - Analyze and report on project financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings - Implement cost-control measures to ensure project profitability Requirements: - Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field - Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in quantity surveying, billing, and commercial management in construction, with a focus on finishing items and MEP work - Strong knowledge of construction contracts, billing practices, and commercial management - Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and construction management software Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with construction management software - Knowledge of billing software (e.g., Excel and Primavera, Microsoft) - Certification in quantity surveying or commercial management (e.g., RICS, CIOB) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Education: Diploma (Required) Experience: minimum: 3 years (Required) Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (Required) Work Location: In person
