Job Description

Review and verify inpatient admission documentation for accuracy.
Ensure compliance with billing standards.
Capture charges accurately based on medical documentation.
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for inpatient services.
Obtain pre-authorization for procedures if required in coordination with insurance department.
Prepare and submit inpatient billing claims to insurance providers through the Insurance department.
Investigate and resolve inpatient billing denials if required.
Generate and issue bills to cash/credit card payment patients.
Provide assistance and clarification regarding billing inquiries from patients.
Coordinate with accounts department for record and reconcile payments received from patients and insurance companies.
Implement quality assurance measures to enhance billing efficiency.
You are responsible for all documentation required for all Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
To participate and coordinate in all quality improvement processes and accreditation standards.
Adheres to the rules and regulations of the VHS and assures that work performed is in keeping with the established standards.
Performs any other tasks and duties appropriate to his/her realm of knowledge, skills and experience as required by the Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
