Billing Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Billing Executive to join our growing Supply Chain Management startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end billing operations, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, handling customer queries, and optimizing billing processes. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the entire billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.Prepare, verify, and process invoices based on agreed contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements.Ensure compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS) and company policies while processing invoices.Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Sales, Operations) to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth billing operations.Maintain and update billing records, reconciliations, and periodic reports.Handle customer queries related to invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.Assist in automation and improvement of billing processes to enhance efficiency.Generate MIS reports and analyze billing trends to provide insights to management.Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments and support collections processes.Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting billing and taxation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2-6 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable, preferably in an SCM, logistics, or e-commerce environment.Strong knowledge of billing systems, taxation (GST, TDS), and accounting principles.Proficiency in billing software and ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Zoho, etc.).Advanced Excel skills and ability to generate reports.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Good communication and interpersonal skills to handle customer and internal team interactions.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
