Bharat Banking: Area Head - Distribution

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with 4 to 9 years of experience to lead our Distribution team under Bharat Banking Vertical The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel management, sales planning, and development

• Drive asset disbursement budgets and deposits from assigned Bharat Bank Branches
• Manage partnership channels/VLE activation for assigned geographies
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business expectations for all product lines from Bharat Bank Branches
• Conduct training, recognition, and branch engagement programs
• Ensure operational efficiency, grievance redressal, and service support to all Bharat Bank Branches
• Map micro-markets and conduct market scoping activities to identify potential catchment in each location
• Monitor and implement critical business channel activities regularly
• Plan and execute new Bharat Bank Branches launches and micro-marketing activities with close coordination with the Branch Banking & Marketing team

• MBA/Postgraduate/Graduate degree
• Minimum 4 years of experience in banks, NBFCs, preferably in retail banking program management, cross-sell, or channel sales/distribution handling roles
• Strong knowledge of banking, asset, and liability products
• Experience in channel management, sales planning, and development
• Excellent people skills, team management abilities, and good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a passion for taking ownership of work and delivering outcomes
• Proactive, thoughtful, and highly organized; able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively across functions and demonstrate coaching and mentoring ability
• Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute towards team goals
