Description
As the Benefits Manager for APJ with a focus on India at BlackLine, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering group benefit programs with a strong emphasis on India-specific needs. Your responsibilities will revolve around independent, high-level administrative coordination and execution, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an enhanced benefits experience for employees across APJ. Reporting to the Director of Global Benefits, you will be the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries and escalations from employees in India and APJ. Your role will involve handling employee inquiries, onboarding, terminations, vendor coordination, invoicing, and special projects. While not managing direct reports, you will collaborate closely with the Corporate Benefits team to align global policies with regional requirements. Your key responsibilities will include managing day-to-day administration of group benefit programs, supporting employees throughout the employee lifecycle, liaising with brokers and vendors, drafting benefit policies, and staying informed on local benefit trends and regulations. Additionally, you will support the Sr. Benefits Manager with annual renewals, collaborate with HR and benefit managers, and contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in benefits, leaves, or wellness management. Strong knowledge of benefit regulations across India and APJ, exceptional organizational and project management skills, outstanding communication abilities, and analytical problem-solving skills are essential for success. A self-managed, self-starter mindset, combined with the ability to prioritize tasks autonomously, will be beneficial in fulfilling the role requirements.
