Job Description

Role Overview -

The BDM will be responsible for driving revenue growth and strategic account development across

multiple zones within the assigned region. This includes acquiring new business, retaining and growing existing

accounts, and acting as a strategic liaison between the customer and internal teams. The incumbent will also

support customer service operations to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous process

improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition & Sales Growth: Drive Identify and pursue potential leads, convert

them into active accounts, and consistently achieve assigned sales targets through consultative

selling and strategic follow-ups.

  • Customer Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full customer account lifecycle, including

onboarding, renewal, reactivation, and termination, ensuring all agreements comply with pricing and

service standards.

  • Customer Retention & Service Excellence: Maintain strong client relationships by resolving

service issues promptly, aligning on expectations, and implementing solutions that enhance

satisfaction and reduce churn.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with regional business heads, channel teams, and

the eCommerce team to identify target seller clusters, initiate outreach, and onboard sellers

effectively.

  • Customer Engagement & Enablement: Design and conduct training sessions and engagement

programs for active customers to resolve common issues, share updates, and capture feedback for

continuous improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1. New Account Acquisition: number of Accounts onboarded.

2. Sales Target Achievement: 100% or more of assigned monthly/quarterly sales target.

3. Complaint Resolution TAT: Resolve complaints within 2448 hours.

4. Customer Retention Rate: Maintain required retention rate across portfolio.

Qualifications

1. 510years of relevant experience in Sales, Account Management.

2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

3. Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic data analysis.
