Job Description – IT Sales Intern

Position: BDE Intern
Company: Qodequay Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Pune (Work from Office + On-field Visits)
Duration: 3 Months Internship
Experience: Fresher or up to 6 months experience
Stipend: Provided after successful completion of internship

Role Overview

As an IT Sales Intern, you will be part of our dynamic Sales & Business Development team. The role involves identifying potential leads, understanding client needs, promoting IT services and solutions, and participating in sales meetings and field visits. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the IT sales domain and develop a solid foundation for a career in tech sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients through market research and field visits
  • Pitch Qodequay’s IT solutions and services to prospective clients
  • Support the sales team in organizing and attending client meetings
  • Maintain records of sales activities and client interactions
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand and communicate service capabilities
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations
  • Follow up with leads and maintain customer relationships
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences

Job Specification

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (Pursuing or Completed) in BBA, B.Com, BSc IT, BCA, MBA (Marketing), or any relevant field

Experience

  • Freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of sales experience
  • IT or software industry exposure will be an added advantage

Skills Required

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of IT products and services
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Ability to work on-field and adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Strong presentation and persuasion abilities
  • MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
