Customer Service & Hospitality

• Greet guests warmly and take beverage and food orders.
• Provide menu recommendations and assist with customization requests.
• Deliver excellent service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare a wide range of coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) according to standard recipes.
• Craft specialty beverages including cold brew, frappes, teas, and signature drinks.
• Ensure beverage consistency, taste, temperature, and presentation standards.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain knowledge of coffee beans, grinders, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
• Explain beverages and ingredients, including allergen awareness.
• Promote seasonal specials and upsell café products.

Equipment Handling

• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and brewing equipment.
• Perform daily cleaning, calibration, and backflushing of coffee equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly.

Food Preparation (if applicable)

• Handle simple food items like sandwiches, pastries, and desserts.
• Follow correct food safety handling and storage procedures.

Hygiene, Safety & Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, counters, and customer spaces.
• Follow food safety, sanitization, and hygiene guidelines (HACCP standards).
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.

Cash & Inventory Management

• Handle POS transactions accurately (cash/card/UPI).
• Manage stock rotation (FIFO), monitor supply levels, and restock items.
• Assist with ordering of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies.

Teamwork & Efficiency

• Work closely with service staff to ensure quick order delivery.
• Maintain smooth operations during peak hours.
• Participate in training and support junior staff when needed.
