Job Description – Barista & Shift Manager

Position Title: Barista & Shift Manager

Location: LA SANTE – Healthy Café, Delhi

Reporting To: Café Manager / Owner

Role Summary

The Barista & Shift Manager is responsible for crafting exceptional coffee and beverages while overseeing daily shift operations. This dual role ensures quality, efficiency, and outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Barista Duties

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, manual brews, cold brews, and specialty health beverages.
• Maintain coffee equipment, ensuring consistent quality and cleanliness.
• Educate customers on coffee origins and brewing methods.

Shift Management

• Lead and motivate staff during assigned shifts.
• Manage daily cash handling, POS closing, and shift reports.
• Oversee inventory control: monitor stock levels, place orders, reduce wastage.
• Uphold hygiene, food safety, and brand presentation standards.
• Handle guest feedback or complaints promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 4 years of professional barista experience.
• Prior experience in team leadership or shift management preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of specialty coffee trends and café operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays.
