Barista

Job Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks while ensuring excellent guest service, product quality, and café hygiene standards. The role requires passion for coffee, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to brand recipes and presentation standards.
• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and POS systems efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café counter, equipment, and seating area.
• Refill stock, monitor inventory levels, and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Handle customer complaints politely and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
• Support café operations during peak hours and assist in daily opening/closing duties.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Barista or in café operations (freshers with training can also apply).
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Barista training or Coffee Art (optional but preferred).
• Experience in branded cafés like Starbucks, Blue Tokai, or Third Wave Coffee Roasters is a plus.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
