Job Description

👨‍🍳 Position: Full-Time Bakery Chef (Arabic & Fusion Desserts) Responsibilities The chef will be responsible for the complete dessert and bakery production, including: Core Preparations Tres Leches (All variations) Custard & Milk-based Dessert Preparation Kunafa Baking (Cheese, Cream, Custom Variants) Milk Cakes & Arabic-Inspired Cakes Cheesecakes, Pudding, and Specialty B.Laban Desserts Cake Cutting, Layering, Soaking & Garnishing Daily Mise-en-place for all desserts Operational Duties Ensure consistency and standardisation of recipes Maintain hygiene and food safety as per FSSAI norms Manage production schedules based on demand Inventory management for dairy, bakery ingredients, dry fruits, etc. Support outlet staff during rush hours Work closely with the owner/manager to innovate new desserts Oversee packaging quality for dine-in and online orders 🎓 Requirements Strong experience in bakery, pastry, or dessert kitchens (Arabic desserts preferred) Ability to prepare Tres Leches, custards, Kunafa, and hot/cold desserts Knowledge of baking temperatures, texture control, and recipe scaling Creative mindset + strong attention to detail Clean, disciplined, and reliable Ability to handle pressure and fast-paced operations Must be available full-time 📅 Work Schedule Full-time | 12 hours Weekly off Festive/peak-day flexibility preferred 💰 Salary & Perks Competitive salary (based on experience) Performance incentives Friendly team culture 📍 Location Be.Laban – Koramangala, Bangalore
