Job Description

Responsible for monitoringand controlling the field equipment in order to maintain normal operatingparameters, ensuring safety and efficiency
Abide by safe operatingprocedures within operating range
Act as first responder toemergencies
Suggest safety improvements
Safe handling of hazardousmaterials and plant wastes. Contribute to housekeeping.
Support contract workmen on safeworking
Monitor and control fieldequipment as per SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklist
Coordinate closely with shiftsuperintendent / panel executive
Collect and deliver samples fromthe field for laboratory testing
Report promptly any abnormalobservations to shift engineer
Handover / takeover of equipment from maintenance
Perform condition monitoringusing LLF
Perform minor troubleshooting
Perform minor maintenance
To contribute towards reductionof waste / handling of chemicals
To operate equipment efficiently
Identify and suggestopportunities for improvement
Following latest safetyguidelines, management guide line like, TQM, EFQM, QCC, 5S etc.
Maintain shift logs forrespective area / equipment
Follow instructions received fromshift superintendent / engineer / panel officer
Member of Auxiliary Fire Squad
Education Requirement :
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation)
Experience Requirement :
2-3 yeards releavnt exp
Skills & Competencies :

Effective organizational &coordination capabilities

Good Verbal / WrittenCommunication

Trust, Dependability,Self-motivated and Self-disciplined

Ability to take initiative andquest for logical conclusion

Good Observation Skills
