- Build and optimise RESTful APIs for high-performance transaction processing.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Implement automated testing (unit, integration) and participate in code reviews.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Practical understanding of designing scalable backend systems
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimisation skills.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, database design for relational systems, and managing migrations (including indexing strategies, constraints, and transaction handling.).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Previous experience in a startup environment with a hands-on approach.
