Backend & DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a Backend & DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale real-time infrastructure powering global communication. You’ll work on distributed microservices, low-latency APIs, cloud-native systems, and production-grade DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Build fault-tolerant services (WebRTC SFU, TURN/STUN, analytics pipelines)
  • Develop RESTful & WebSocket APIs with ultra-low latency
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and observability
  • Optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) for scale
Requirements
  • 2+ years backend development & DevOps experience
  • Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/2, WebRTC)
  • Hands-on with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm
  • Proficiency in Node.js/Golang/Python
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
  • Linux proficiency & Git-based workflows

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SIP, RTP/RTCP, GStreamer, FFmpeg
  • Open-source contributions or SRE practices
