Backend developer

Job Title: Backend Developer Location: kovalam Department: IT / Development Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 2–5 years (or customize as needed) --- Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for server-side application logic, database management, and integration of front-end elements. Your primary focus will be on developing high-performance and scalable backend systems. --- Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Develop and optimize database schemas and queries. Ensure data security, integrity, and backup procedures. Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and QA teams. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Maintain code quality and participate in code reviews. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend development. --- Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in backend languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby. Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or similar architectures. Strong understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. --- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of microservices architecture. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of security best practices and data privacy laws. --- Salary: As per industry standards / Based on experience
