Position:

About the Role

Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable
backend systems and services
.
Build and integrate
APIs
for internal and external applications.
Optimize
database queries and performance
for large datasets.
Collaborate with
front-end developers, architects, and product managers
to deliver seamless solutions.
Ensure application
security, reliability, and high performance
.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5 - 10 years of professional experience in
backend development
.
Proficiency in one or more backend languages/frameworks such as
Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET
.
Strong experience with
databases
(SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Hands-on knowledge of
RESTful APIs / Microservices architecture
.
Familiarity with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with
version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes)
.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience working in the
Finance / FinTech domain
.
Knowledge of
security standards, compliance, and regulations
in financial systems.
Exposure to
event-driven architecture, Kafka, or message queues
.
