Job Description

About The Role

Were looking for a skilled Backend Developer to help build and scale our ERP and manufacturing management platform. You'll work with a modern Django stack, building APIs, background tasks, and integrations that power critical business workflows.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Django and Django REST Framework
Handle background tasks and scheduling with Celery
Work with MySQL, Redis, and message brokers like RabbitMQ
Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
Optimise performance, reliability, and scalability
Integrate with AWS S3, APIs, and third-party systems
Troubleshoot and maintain existing systems
Follow security best practices

Requirements

Must-Have :

Strong experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework
Solid understanding of MySQL and Django ORM
Experience with Celery, RESTful APIs, and background processing
Familiar with Git and modern development workflows
Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, or similar auth mechanisms

Nice-to-Have

Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, and MQTT
Exposure to ERP domains
Knowledge of tools like Sentry, Silk, or performance monitoring
