Backend Developer - Python/Django

As a skilled Backend Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and scaling of our ERP and manufacturing management platform. Working with a modern Django stack, you will play a key role in building APIs, background tasks, and integrations that drive essential business workflows. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining backend services using Django and Django REST Framework, managing background tasks and scheduling through Celery, and collaborating with MySQL, Redis, and message brokers like RabbitMQ. You will be expected to write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, optimize performance, reliability, and scalability, as well as integrate with AWS S3, APIs, and third-party systems. Additionally, troubleshooting and maintaining existing systems while adhering to security best practices will be crucial aspects of your role. The ideal candidate for this position must possess strong experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework, along with a solid understanding of MySQL and Django ORM. Proficiency in Celery, RESTful APIs, and background processing is essential, as well as familiarity with Git and modern development workflows. Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, or similar authentication mechanisms is also required. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, and MQTT, exposure to ERP domains, and familiarity with tools such as Sentry, Silk, or performance monitoring.
