Your Role And Responsibilities

IBM Fusion is a modern application data platform that seamlessly integrates AI, containerized, and virtual machine workloads with automated orchestration, enabling gradual modernization while reducing operational complexity.Virtualization Team is a squad within the Fusion team focusing in providing Virtualization and Hosted Control plane capabilities.

Preferred Education

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

2 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development
Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
Proficient in designing and developing microservices
Exposure to OpenShift Virtualization and Hosted Control Planes (HCP)
Solid understanding of REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Experience working with storage technologies
Exposure to Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) products
Familiarity with cloud-native development practices
Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Jaeger
Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs is a plus
