We’re a nimble, independent tech company crafting platforms like Okta Health, our Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) solution transforming how physical therapists manage patient care. We’re now expanding our engineering team and looking for a Backend Developer with solid Go (Golang) experience to help us scale our systems and build robust, modern APIs. What You’ll Do Design, build, and maintain backend services in Go for our core products. Develop secure, high-performance APIs and microservices. Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to ship end-to-end features. Work with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and DevOps tools to deploy and scale infrastructure. Ensure code quality through tests, reviews, and CI/CD best practices. Help define backend architecture decisions as we grow and evolve our stack. What We’re Looking For 1+ years of experience with Golang in production environments. Strong understanding of RESTful API design, backend architecture, and database modeling. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). Comfortable working in fast-moving, remote startup environments. Solid Git workflows and comfort with modern development tooling. Bonus Points For Experience with gRPC or GraphQL. Prior work in healthtech or related compliance-heavy industries. Familiarity with ICF/ICD/healthcare data models or FHIR (a big plus but not required).
