We are looking for passionate Backend Developer freshers who have strong foundational knowledge in backend development and the drive to apply it in real-world projects.
Role Overview
As a Backend Developer (Fresher), you will:
● Work on developing scalable and secure backend systems.
● Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
● Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.● Gain exposure to real-world e-commerce, merchant services, payments, authentication, and shipping integrations.
Key Responsibilities
● Design and implement RESTful APIs for admin CMS, web, and mobile platforms.
● Write clean, maintainable code in Node.js with TypeScript.
● Work with PostgreSQL + Prisma ORM for database design and management.
● Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
● Follow best practices in performance optimization and web security.● Maintain proper documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
● Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Tech Stack You’ll Work With
● Languages & Frameworks: Node.js, Express, TypeScript
● Database: PostgreSQL with Prisma ORM
● Documentation: Swagger/OpenAPI
● Testing: Jest
● Monitoring & Logging: Sentry, Winston
● Containerization: Docker
Knowledge & Skills
● Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
● Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
● Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Prisma or equivalent).
● Knowledge of authentication & authorization workflows (JWT, OAuth).
● Awareness of API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
● Fundamentals of web application security.
● Understanding of Git and modern development workflows.
Good to Have (Bonus Knowledge)
● Redis (caching, rate limiting)
● Docker and containerization basics● CI/CD concepts● Microservices architecture fundamentals● Real-time communication (WebSockets)● Cloud basics (AWS or similar)● Prior projects or internships in e-commerce / merchant platforms
