*What You’ll Be Working On*
-Architecting and building backend services with Nest.js and Express.js-Designing and optimizing PostgreSQL schemas and Redis caching-Implementing granular auth, audit, and permissions systems-Collaborating with AI engineers to integrate Python-based AI services (FastAPI, LangChain)-Supporting containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments (AWS ECS)-Building APIs and microservices ready for future scaling

*Key Responsibilities*
-Develop and maintain robust REST APIs and backend modules in Nest.js / Express.js-Design secure authentication and authorization workflows (OAuth 2.0, JWT, 2FA)-Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability across services-Collaborate with frontend and AI teams to integrate platform features-Write clean, tested, and documented backend code-Participate in code reviews and backend architecture discussions-Support migration from modular monolith to microservices

*Must-Have Skills*
-Strong proficiency in Nest.js, Express.js, and TypeScript-Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and API development best practices-Familiarity with Docker, container-based development, and CI/CD pipelines-Understanding of modular monolith and microservices architectures-Solid knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows-Experience in fast-paced or startup environments-Understanding of secure auth, RBAC, and audit trail implementations

*Nice-to-Have Skills*
-Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, S3, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager)-Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)-Experience integrating AI/ML services (FastAPI, Python APIs)-Familiarity with compliance systems, audit logs, or regulatory data flows-Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
