Roles & Responsibilities

Check pages to ensure
spelling, grammar, and style
are correct and consistent.
Verify that
page numbers, headings, captions, photos, and illustrations
match the original source.
Ensure
chapter headings match the table of contents
and pages are logically arranged.
Review copy to detect and correct any
grammatical, typographical, or layout errors.
Perform
proof checking
against client specifications and follow paging guidelines carefully.
Understand and apply
style specifications
from sample books, PDFs, or visual guides.
Conduct
PDF comparison
at every stage of production to ensure corrections are properly implemented.
Ensure
PDF files are certified correctly
and free of errors or log issues.
Coordinate with team members to ensure
timely completion of assigned projects.

Required Skills

Good command of
English grammar and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of
MS Office and PDF tools.
Ability to
follow instructions and maintain accuracy
under deadlines.
Team player with good communication and coordination skills.
