Job Description

Job Summary: The Print Customer Service Head is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of printing, ensuring that all print jobs are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time. This role involves setting up and troubleshooting print jobs and ensuring quality control. The Print Customer Service Head is also responsible for coordinating with US clients and other departments to meet production deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Lead and oversee the daily print production process. Coordinates with the composition PM for pre-press and/or composition requirement and make sure printer files are posted on time. Ensure print jobs meet quality standards and are completed within set timeframes. Make sure all printing forms have been received from the customer and are complete. Submit order forms and post files on SELECT or help customers entering print jobs directly in SELECT. Estimate and Invoicing: Coordinate and get the invoice/Estimate from composition PM for composition and Pre-Press job. Submit completed and accurate forms along with sample invoice/Estimate for composition and Print services to SPA Estimating. Send a combined quote (print and composition) to the customer and request for a PO. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with comp project manager, printer associates, and clients to ensure print job specifications are met. Communicate any potential delays or issues to stakeholders. Provide recommendations for improving processes. Team management: 20+ years of experience in managing large teams of about 50-100 people. Goals oriented, eye for details and having ability to improve workflows and processes for continual improvement. Recruit and hire employees with print planning knowledge and train/retain them. Customize SOPs provided by US team for KGL for training new employees and reference for existing employees. Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree/diploma in printing or related field. 20+ years of experience in a printing environment. Excellent communication with experience of manging US customers. Strong knowledge of printing processes. Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Working Conditions: Full-time position with standard working hours. Flexible in timings, may require to co-ordinate with printer associates and customers during US office hours to meet deadlines.
