We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our IT team and play a critical role in developing robust and scalable backend systems.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an intern Backend Developer to build and maintain the server-side logic, database management, and API integration for our digital healthcare platform. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality code, ensuring system security, and collaborating with a dynamic team to develop innovative healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript (Node.js), and .NET to build and maintain backend systems.
• Create and manage server-side logic to handle application functionality efficiently.
• Design and maintain databases, ensuring data consistency, optimization, and security.
• Develop and integrate APIs to enable seamless communication between the server, front-end, and third-party services.
• Handle user authentication, authorization, and session management to secure application access.
• Process user requests and manage application workflows for a smooth user experience.
• Implement robust data storage solutions with a focus on privacy, compliance, and security (e.g., AES 256-bit encryption).
• Collaborate with front-end developers, system architects, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize server performance, troubleshooting issues to ensure application uptime.
• Stay updated with industry trends and adopt best practices for scalable and maintainable system development.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as NDHM, IT Act, and SPI rules in application design and deployment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role (1+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript (Node.js), and .NET.
• Experience with database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and third-party API integrations.
• Familiarity with user authentication, session management, and access control systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Knowledge of data encryption techniques and cybersecurity practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
