Back End Developer - Java

About the Role:

Java Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using

  Java (Java 8+)

  and

  Spring Boot

  .
• Work with

  MySQL

  and

  MongoDB

  databases for data access and storage.
• Build and maintain real-time event-driven systems using

  Apache Kafka

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and standards.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain

  CI/CD pipelines

  using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Use

  Docker

  for containerization and help maintain consistency across environments.
• Maintain version control using

  Git

  and follow proper branching strategies.
• Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in

  Java backend development

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Spring Boot

  and

  REST APIs

  .
• Strong understanding of

  MySQL

  and

  MongoDB

  .
• Experience with

  Apache Kafka

  for asynchronous messaging.
• Good understanding of

  CI/CD concepts

  and tools.
• Proficient in using

  Docker

  and

  Git

  .
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with

  Selenium

  or other test automation tools.
• Exposure to

  Kubernetes

  and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
