About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer to join our fast-paced and collaborative team. This role involves designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend services using Java , Spring Boot , and integrating with tools like Kafka , MongoDB , and MySQL . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , Docker , and Git is essential. If you're passionate about backend development and open to working with automation tools like Selenium , this is the place for you. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (Java 8+) and Spring Boot . Work with MySQL and MongoDB databases for data access and storage. Build and maintain real-time event-driven systems using Apache Kafka . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and standards. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Use Docker for containerization and help maintain consistency across environments. Maintain version control using Git and follow proper branching strategies. Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of professional experience in Java backend development . Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs . Strong understanding of MySQL and MongoDB . Experience with Apache Kafka for asynchronous messaging. Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools. Proficient in using Docker and Git . Solid understanding of microservices architecture. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to Have: Experience with Selenium or other test automation tools. Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration.
