Job Description

Job Summary

Backend Developer

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and secure backend systems.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for frontend and third-party services.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.
Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues, ensuring uptime and reliability.
Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver end-to-end product features.
Write clean, testable code with proper documentation and conduct peer code reviews.
Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployments in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Stay updated with the latest backend technologies, tools, and best practices.
Strong knowledge of at least one backend language/framework:
Node.js (Express, Nest.js)
Java (Spring Boot)
Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
.NET Core
Proficiency with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Understanding of API design principles, versioning, and documentation (Swagger, Postman).
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development.
Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
