Job Description

  • The Business Analyst plays a crucial role within our Business Analysis team, serving as the "Voice of the User" in defining and delivering large-scale, complex technical programmes for the TCCC Media Data Lake (MDL) Platform
  • This role requires a highly analytical and communicative individual with a deep understanding of business analysis methodologies and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions
  • The Business Analyst will work closely with Development Teams, Project Managers, Measurement Team, and Client Team to elicit, analyse and document requirements, ensuring that the MDL Platform meets the needs of our users and aligns with overall business objectives
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of business processes, ideally within the advertising agency ecosystem and with knowledge in both traditional and digital media

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Business Analysis

  • Requirements Elicitation Analysis: Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and pain points. Analyse and document these requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and testable. This will often involve working with clients and sponsors to understand specific MDL market needs.
  • User Story Development Prioritisation: Translate business requirements into user stories that clearly articulate the desired functionality from a user perspective. Prioritise user stories based on business value and feasibility, working closely with the various teams.
  • Solution Evaluation Recommendation: Evaluate potential solutions to address business needs and recommend the most appropriate approach based on factors such as feasibility, cost, and impact.
  • Process Mapping Optimisation: Document and analyse existing business processes related to the MDL Platform. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation, working with stakeholders to implement changes. Team Collaboration
  • Collaborative Efforts: Foster a collaborative and communicative environment within the Business Analysis team and across other departments.
  • Business Analysis Best Practice: Contribute to the definition and implementation of Business Analysis best practices and standards within the organization.
  • Wider Team Feedback Collection: Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, including development teams, product managers, and business users.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Organise and facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, brainstorm solutions, and build consensus among stakeholders
