B2B (business-to-business) outdoor sales executive with good tender knowledge is a field sales professional who sells products or services to other businesses and is skilled in managing the public procurement (tender) process. This dual expertise makes the role crucial for companies seeking to secure lucrative government or corporate contracts in addition to traditional sales.

Job summary

The B2B Outdoor Sales Executive with Good Tender Knowledge is responsible for generating new business and managing existing client relationships through in-person, on-site interactions. The role focuses on achieving sales targets by identifying opportunities, especially those involving competitive public and private tenders. The executive will drive revenue growth by managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal preparation to negotiation and deal closure. Key Responsibilities sales and business development

  • Identify and research potential clients and market opportunities, particularly those involving public and private sector tenders.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and sales targets.
  • Engage in face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and build strong, lasting business relationships.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts
  • Track and identify relevant tender opportunities from official portals, publications, and other sources.
  • Lead the entire tender submission process, coordinating with internal teams (such as legal, technical, and finance) to gather all necessary information

Qualifications

  • Any bachelor's degree experience candidate can apply. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Proven experience in a B2B sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Specific experience in managing the tender or public procurement process is highly desirable.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Exceptional ability to negotiate contracts and terms to close deals successfully.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting information, writing proposals, and building rapport.

  • Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance field activities with desk-based tender work and reporting.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales and tender strategy.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹28,900.00 - ₹33,400.00 per month
